The Grace O'Malley whiskeys are a tribute to the Irish pirate queen Grainne Ní Mháille/Grace O'Malley. Grace (1530 - 1603) is an Irish heroine, a bold navigator and sailor who became a pirate feared by the English. The Grace O'Malley spirits were created inspired by her wild life and courageous character.

Grace O'Malley Dark Char Cask was first matured in oak barrels for an unspecified period of time and then further matured in heavily charred barrels. Bottled at 42% alcohol by volume.

Aroma: coffee, bourbon vanilla, milk chocolate, roasted wheat, caramel candies.

Taste: Fruit cake, grainy grains, and distinctive roasted notes.
