The Glenfiddich distillery was built between 1886 and 1887 by William Grant and began production on Christmas Day 1887. In 1892, the founder took a break from managing Glenfiddich Distillery to establish the nearby Balvenie distillery, which is also still owned by William Grant & Sons. In 1963, the distinctive three-sided Glenfiddich bottle was introduced. In the same year, the distillery also launched the first ever official single malt whisky on the market.

Glenfiddich 30 Years matured the entire time in a combination of American and European oak casks. Bottled with 43 % vol. alcohol.

Aroma: Creamy vanilla with mint and ripe apples, carried by dark chocolate and distinct oak.

Taste: Intensely spicy with nutmeg, sweet and creamy with vanilla custard and dark chocolate, ripe and fruity.
