The Glenfiddich distillery was built between 1886 and 1887 by William Grant and began production on Christmas Day 1887. In 1892, the founder took a break from managing Glenfiddich Distillery to establish the nearby Balvenie distillery, which is also still owned by William Grant & Sons. In 1963, the distinctive three-sided Glenfiddich bottle was introduced. In the same year, the distillery also launched the first ever official single malt whisky on the market.

Glenfiddich 29 Jahre Grand Yozakura reifte zuerst in Eichenholzfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Reisschnapsfässern. Abgefüllt mit 43,8 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Würzig mit reifen Früchten und karamellisierten Mandeln, aromatisches Eichenholz mit Anklängen von Zimt und Kräutern.

Geschmack: Süß und cremig mit Vanille-Toffee, Gewürzen und reifen Zitrusfrüchten, erdige Noten mit Kräutern und trockenem Holz.
