Five friends from Dublin founded the Glendalough Distillery in 2011. Different styles of Irish whiskeys are produced locally in small batches. The distillery also produces gin. On the label of the bottles you can see Saint Kevin, who, according to legend, stood in the water with blackbird eggs in his hands for 13 days and 13 nights until the chicks hatched. He stayed there for another 13 days until they fledged.

Glendalough Single Cask Madeira Cask Finish first matured in former bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and was then further matured in a single Madeira cask. Bottled at 42% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Hints of dark fruit, sweet grain with mild spiciness and slightly dry oak.

Taste: Fruity with cherries and peaches, caramel, grain, slightly peppery oak note.
