No, on the island of Jura, in the small coastal town of Ardlussa, there live three ladies who also want to establish gin in Scotland.

Why exactly there? Where the rough Atlantic meets the land, unbridled and unspoiled nature has emerged over thousands of years.

This wilderness produces the best ingredients for making gin: bog myrtle, thyme, honeysuckle and more. Alicia MacInnes, Georgina Kitchin and Claire Fletscher collect these botanicals and supplement them with other herbs and plants that they cultivate themselves.
