Wolfburn Vibrant Stills First-Fill Sauternes Cask 8 years 2016/2024 0.7l, alc. 49.9 Vol.-%

The original Wolfburn Distillery was founded in 1821 by William Smith & Co in the northern Highlands. Production ceased around 1850 and the distillery fell into disrepair. By 1872, only ruins remained. It was not until 2011 that plans were drawn up for a new distillery not far from the site of the old facility. Whisky production began in January 2013.

Wolfburn Vibrant Stills First-Fill Sauternes Cask 8 years 2016/2024 matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks and first-fill Sauternes French oak casks. Bottled with 49.9% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Rich in fruits, banana and honey, milk chocolate, peach, yoghurt

Taste: Tropical sweetness and fruitiness, vanilla cream, passion fruit, apricot, cherry-banana juice, syrup, candy floss.
