The Bladnoch Distillery, located on the river of the same name, is the southernmost whisky distillery in Scotland still in production. Founded in 1817, the distillery has experienced some very dark times: countless changes of ownership and temporary closures. In 2015, the distillery was acquired by an Australian entrepreneur who breathed new life into Bladnoch and modernized it.

This single malt was bottled in 2024 and replaces the previous 11-year-old from last year. The whisky was matured continuously for 13 years in bourbon casks – 95% of which are first-fill casks. Bottled at 46.7% ABV, it is color-free and non-chill-filtered.

Aroma: Rich with vanilla, floral accents, honey and subtle apricot notes.

Palate: Floral and grassy with aromas of fresh apples, citrus, and hay. Hints of spice are also present.
