Slyrs Fifty One Single Malt Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 51% by volume

The Slyrs distillery has been producing single malt whiskey since 1999. In the beginning, the Lantenhammer distillery housed the production, from 2007 in its own premises in the immediate vicinity of the Schliersee. Since the beginning of 2022, Slyrs has been an independent company, which is now known beyond the German borders with a large number of different bottlings.

Slyrs Fifty One first matured in fresh American white oak barrels (Virgin Oak) for an undefined period of time and then received post-maturation in various wine barrels. Bottled with a strong 51 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Covered floral with moss and herbs, dark dried fruits, spices and some wood.

Taste: Tart-cereal with a delicate sweetness, herb candies, prunes and orange peel.
