Founded back in 1779, Bowmore is the oldest whisky distillery on the Isle of Islay. Known for its smoky whiskies, Bowmore is one of the milder representatives of the island with a smoke content of around 35 ppm in the malt. In addition to its bottlings, the distillery is also known for Vault No. 1 - the only warehouse in Scotland that is located below sea level.

Bowmore Timeless 27 Jahre reifte zuerst in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Oloroso-Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit kräftigen 52,7 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Reife, dunkle Fruchtnoten mit deutlichem Sherry, cremiger Süße, einem Hauch Lakritz und zartem Torf-/ Weihrauch.

Geschmack: Leder und Anklänge von Tabak, dunkle Früchte mit Pflaumen und Rosinen, Karamell und ein Hauch Torfrauch.
