Talisker Skye 0.7l, alc. 45.8 Vol.-%

The Talisker distillery was established in 1831 on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The name is derived from the Talisker House estate, located a few miles west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960 destroyed almost the entire distillery, Talisker was faithfully rebuilt a few years later. Skye's breathtaking landscape attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom are captivated by the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker Skye matured for an unspecified period in oak casks. Bottled at 45.8% ABV.

AROMA: Maritime and peppery with delicate peat smoke, some leather and sweet caramel, mildly fruity.

TASTE: Aromatic mix of sweetness and spice, hints of fruit, toffee and leathery smoke.
