Glenturret is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. It is believed that whisky was being illegally distilled here as early as 1717. The current distillery dates back to 1775. The distillery produces both peated and unpeated single malt whisky and is also known worldwide as the "Home of the Famous Grouse." Glenturret is also famous for Towser, the house cat who made it into the Guinness Book of Records: she reached the almost biblical age for a cat of nearly 24 years and reportedly killed 28,899 mice during that time.

Glenturret 12 Year Old matured for its entire maturation period in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 46.2% ABV, without added colouring and non-chill filtered.

Aroma: Rich dried fruits with warming notes of ginger, cinnamon and vanilla.

Taste: Dark chocolate, berries and pleasantly spicy wood notes.
