The Tullibardine distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, originally stems from a brewery. King James IV already bought beer from this very brewery in 1488. Whisky production began in 1886. It wasn't until 1947 that the brewery buildings were converted into today's Tullibardine Distillery. Since 2011, the distillery has been owned by the French wine and spirits group Picard Vins & Spiritueux, which also owns the 'Highland Queen' brand.
Tullibardine The Murray matured from 2013 to 2026 in former bourbon casks.
Bottled at cask strength with a robust 56.1% vol. alcohol, without coloring and non-chill-filtered.
Aroma: Vanilla pods, creamy pudding, roasted grain malt, delicate biscuit notes
Taste: Toffee, honey, dark fruits, nutty notes, woody spice
