Redbreast 12 years 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

In 1966, the companies John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and concentrate all production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975, production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has since been converted into a visitor center.

Redbreast 12 years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled with a mild 40 % vol. alcohol.

Aroma: Pithy grain with delicate sweetness, citrus fruits and peel, dry oak with a little spice.

Taste: Sweet and spicy in the mix, toffee and cloves, pears and oranges, dry cereals.
