Penderyn Sherry Wales Single Malt Whisky 0.7l alc. 46 Vol.-%

It was 100 years since whiskey was last produced in Wales before the Welsh Whiskey Company was founded in 1998. Penderyn Distillery distilled their first New Make in 2000 and bottled their first single malt whiskey in 2004. The first release was ceremoniously accompanied by many invited guests, including the Prince of Wales himself.

Penderyn Sherrywood first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received post-maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Fresh and floral with herbs, hints of nuts and fruits, spicy oak.

Taste: Malty with light fruit notes, pepper and hazelnuts, spicy, dry wood.
