The Bruichladdich distillery was founded in 1881 by the Harvey brothers on the shores of Loch Indaal. Closed in 1994, a group of private investors breathed new life into the distillery in 2000. Today, Bruichladdich produces single malt whisky under its own name on the island of Islay without any peat smoke. The Port Charlotte is a medium smoky whisky and the Octomore is the world's smokiest single malt.

Octomore 14.1 5 Jahre 2023 reifte fünf Jahre in First Fill American Whiskey Fässern.  Abgefüllt mit kräftigen 59,6 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Geräucherte Vanille und Karamelltoffee verbinden sich mit Zitrusnoten und erdigem Rauch.

Geschmack: Zitrusfrüchte mit erneutem rauchigem Vanille- und Toffegeschmack und Noten von grünen Früchten gehen über in geröstete Kaffebohnen mit Nelke und Muskat.
