Oban Distillers Edition 2022 0,7l, alc. 43 Vol.-%

The Oban Distillery was founded back in 1794 in the small town of the same name. The distillery is one of the few remaining distilleries that are located in the town itself and do not produce outside. Oban forms the border between the Scottish Highlands and the islands, both geographically and in terms of the character of the single malt itself. Bottlings from the distillery are rather rare. Oban is known for its 14-year-old single malt, which is part of the Classic Malts range.

Oban Distillers Edition 2022 reifte zuerst in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Fino-Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 43 vol. % Alkohol.

Aroma: Reife Obst- und Zitrusnoten mit trockenem Sherry, Walnüssen und einem Hauch Rauch, maritim.

Geschmack: Würzig-malzig mit reifen Trauben, Orangen und -schale, trockenem Eichenholz und etwas Torfrauch.
