The Loch Lomond distillery was founded in 1964 on the lake of the same name near the small town of Alexandria. The distillery is very diverse in the production of whisky. Be it through the malt (smoky and non-smoky) as well as the various systems used to produce whisky. In addition to pot stills, the distillery also has several other stills: Lomond stills, Coffey stills for grain whisky since 1993 and column stills.

Loch Lomond Steam & Fire reifte zuerst in First Fill Bourbon Barrels und Refill American Oak Fässer, erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in First Fill heavily recharred American Oak Barrels . Abgefüllt mit 46 vol. % Alkohol, nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Anklänge von Karamell, Äpfeln, Vanille und Zimt.

Geschmack: Seidig weich mit Orange, Pfirsich und Marmelade, sowie Kaffeenoten, brauner Zucker und geröstete Marshmallows.
