Laphroaig Four Oak 1,0l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Laphroaig Distillery was officially founded in 1815 in the south of the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay. During Prohibition, the distillery's whisky was sold as medicine, which explains the appearance and features of the whiskies. In 1994, the distillery received the Royal Warrant from King Charles III. He greatly appreciates the smoky single malt whisky from Laphroaig and visits the distillery regularly. Laphroaig translates as "the beautiful hollow by the wide bay".

Laphroaig Four Oak reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern, sowie Quarter Casks und frischen Fässern aus amerikanischer Weißeiche (Virgin Oak). Abgefüllt mit 40 vol. % Alkohol.

Aroma: Süß mit kräuterbetontem Rauch, medizinischen Noten, Anklänge von Frucht und frische Eiche.

Geschmack: Süß mit Buttercreme und etwas Pfeffer, malzig mit maritimer Frische, Torfrauch und einem Hauch Sandelholz.
