The Laphroaig Distillery was officially founded in 1815 in the south of the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay. During Prohibition, the distillery's whisky was sold as medicine, which explains the appearance and features of the whiskies. In 1994, the distillery received the Royal Warrant from King Charles III. He greatly appreciates the smoky single malt whisky from Laphroaig and visits the distillery regularly. Laphroaig translates as "the beautiful hollow by the wide bay".

Mit Elements 1.0 zeigen wir Laphroaig von einer neuen und unerwarteten Seite. Für diese erste Abfüllung einer neuen Serie hat unser Master Blender seiner Fantasie freien Lauf gelassen und mit unserem Fermentationsprozess experimentiert, um einen Whisky zu kreieren, der unerwartete Geschmacksdimensionen offenbart.

Aroma: Im Antritt Maritim mit Noten von rauchigem Speck, gefolgt von Erdbeermarmelade, geräucherter Ananas und Lagerfeuerglut.

Geschmack: Pfeffrige Würze mit tropischen Früchten, sowie Nelken und Lakritze.
