Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2024 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

When the Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. The barley used in production is partly grown near the distillery and kilned on the company's own malt floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of smoky whisky all over the world, which means that Kilchoman is expanding bit by bit.

Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2024 matured for an unspecified period of time in former Oloroso sherry casks from the renowned Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin. Bottled at 46% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Smoke and cooked fruits, dark chocolate and dried figs.

Taste: Delicate peat smoke, citrus notes, toffee, honey roasted nuts and cinnamon.
