Kilchoman Batch Strength 2024 0,7l, alc. 57 Vol.-%

When the Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. The barley used in production is partly grown near the distillery and kilned on the company's own malt floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of smoky whisky all over the world, which means that Kilchoman is expanding bit by bit.

Kilchoman Batch Strength 2024 matured for an indefinite period of time in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels. Bottled at a strong 57% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Red fruits, fresh cherries, heather flowers and intense peat smoke.

Taste: White grapes, fudge, salted caramel and tobacco leaves with strong waves of smoke.
