Islay Mist 10 years Blended Scotch Whisky 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Islay Mist brand owes its existence to a celebration held to mark the 21st birthday of the son (later Lord Margadale) of the Laird of Islay House. It was thought that the famous Laphroaig single malt might be too heavy for such an important celebration with guests from near and far, so it was blended with selected Speyside single malts and Lowland single grains. The result proved so popular that a similar bottling was marketed under the name Islay Mist.

Islay Mist 10 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in Eichenholzfässern. Abgefüllt mit 40 vol. % Alkohol.

Aroma: Würzig mit etwas Tabak und Torfrauch, milde Nussigkeit, Getreide.

Geschmack: Anklänge von reifen Früchten, etwas Pfeffer, kerniges Malz und zart kräuterbetonter Rauch.
