Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries Pure Malt 0.2l, alc. 46% by volume

The Chichibu Distillery was founded in 2004 in the town of the same name by Ichiro Akuto. Ichiro comes from a family with a long history of sake brewing. In 1945, Ichiro's grandfather decided to make whiskey. These mark the beginnings of the Hanyu Distillery. It closed due to bankruptcy in 2000. Ichiro salvaged the cask inventory and started his Chichibu Distillery in 2008.

Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet and malty with ripe fruit, floral notes, some oak and ginger.

Taste: Fruity with nectarines and peaches, sweet vanilla, barley malt and lavender.
