Glenfarclas Single Cask 2010 0.7l, alc. 60.4% vol.

The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay in Speyside, Scotland and was licensed to distill whiskey in 1844. In 1865 the distillery was sold to John Grant, whose descendants later renovated the distillery and still own it today. Glenfarclas is known for its single malts, which mature entirely in ex-sherry casks. Hardly any Scottish distillery has such an extensive range of different bottlings.

Glenfarclas Family Cask matured in a single sherry cask from 2010 to 2021. Bottled at a strong 60.4% ABV. Alcohol, no coloring, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: fruity with berries and dried fruit, brown sugar and trail mix, chocolatey oak.

Taste: Cherries and strawberries with a distinctive sweetness, raisins and nuts, latte and delicate bitterness.
