An association under the leadership of James Allardice founded the Glendronach distillery in the Scottish town of Huntly in 1826. Most recently under the leadership of Billy Walker, the distillery first became an insider tip and later an iconic brand. Glendronach's single malts, which are matured entirely in Spanish sherry casks, are particularly popular.

Glendronach Forgue reifte für zehn Jahre in ehemaligen Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 43 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff, nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Geröstetes Getreide, Milchkaffee und reife Fruchtnoten, aromatisch würzig.

Geschmack: Süß-säuerlich mit Blutorangen und -schale, malzbetont mit pfeffriger Würzigkeit und nussiger Eiche.
