Glendalough Calvados XO Cask Finish 0,7l, alc. 42 Vol.-%

Five friends from Dublin founded the Glendalough Distillery in 2011. Various styles of Irish whiskey are produced on site in small batches. The distillery also produces gin. The label on the bottles features St. Kevin, who, according to legend, stood in the water with blackbird eggs in his hands for 13 days and 13 nights until the chicks hatched. He stayed there for another 13 days until they fledged.

Glendalough Single Cask Calvados XO Cask Finish reifte für nicht definierte Zeit zuerst in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in einem einzelnen Calvadosfass. Abgefüllt mit 42 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Blumige Noten, reifes Obst mit zartem Mix aus Süße und Würze, trocken-getreidig.

Geschmack: Fruchtig mit reifen Äpfeln, etwas Säure, Karamell und Getreide, herbe Holzigkeit.
