The Glen Scotia Distillery was founded in 1832 by the Galbraith family and is now one of three remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region of Scotland. It is said that the distillery is haunted by the ghost of Duncan McCallum, one of its former owners. Glen Scotia produces both smoky and non-smoky single malt whisky and is becoming increasingly popular with connoisseurs.

Glen Scotia 25 Jahre reifte zuerst in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern, bevor er eine Nachreifung in frischen Bourbonfässern erhielt. Abgefüllt mit kräftigen 48,8 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Ausgewogen und süß mit Vanille und Zitronenkuchen, floralen und maritimen Noten mit einem Hauch von Torfrauch.

Geschmack: Cremig und süß mit Vanillefudge, aromatischer Würzigkeit, reifen Orangen und Zitronen, frisch mit trockenem Leder.
