Glen Moray Sherry Cask Finish 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

In the west of the town of Elgin you will find the Glen Moray Distillery, founded in 1897. Located on the banks of the River Lossie, the building in which the distillery produces can be traced back to a brewery. Glen Moray means something like “Valley of the Lake Settlement”. The distillery is known for its single malts, which matured and then matured in a wide variety of cask types.

Glen Moray Sherry Cask Finish first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. It was then matured in sherry casks, bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Tart oak notes, dry grain with hints of dark fruit and chocolate.

Taste: Cream cheese, delicate note of malt, pear and apple with a slight spiciness from the wood, creamy.
