The Glen Moray Distillery, founded in 1897, is located to the west of the town of Elgin. Situated on the banks of the River Lossie, the origins of the building in which the distillery produces can be traced back to a brewery. Glen Moray translates as "valley of the settlement by the lake". The distillery is known for its single malts, which are matured and matured in a wide variety of cask types.

Glen Moray Peated wurde aus rauchigem Gerstenmalz hergestellt und reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 vol. % Alkohol.

Aroma: Grasig und frisch mit Getreide, zarter Süße, Anklängen von Frucht und etwas Rauch.

Geschmack: Grüne Äpfel und Malz, leichte Puderzuckersüße mit etwas Leder und einem Hauch Torfrauch.
