Franconian Vatted Malt Whisky 0.5l, alc. 50 Vol.-%

The experienced master distillers from both distilleries each selected an exclusive individual barrel for the Franconian Vatted Malt Whiskey. Georg Kugler, founder and master distiller of Elch-Whisky, selected an eight-year-old peated single malt whiskey that was allowed to mature in a former Bourbon Tennessee Whiskey barrel from Jack Daniel's. The St. Kilian Single Malt Whiskey matured for four years in a former barrique barrel from the Bürgstadt winery Fürst, which was initially filled with Pinot Noir red wine and then with cherry brandy for 20 years. This remarkable blended malt whiskey captures the soul of Franconia in every bottle.

Aroma: The beguiling fruit notes of ripe apples and pears as well as delicate cherry tones are accompanied by fragrant vanilla pudding and fine, spicy oak aromas with subtle smoke in the background

Taste: After a deliciously sweet beginning with vanilla cream and bright fruit notes as well as a delicate cherry aroma, it becomes increasingly spicy with a subtle peppery spiciness, which is wonderfully balanced by creamy toffee and a hint of smoke.
