Fettercairn 12 years 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Established in the East Highlands in 1824, Fettercairn Distillery is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. More than 60 years later, a fire almost completely destroyed the distillery. After the reconstruction, Fettercairn experienced a few changes of ownership and now belongs to an Indian industrialist who places the distillery's single malts in the luxury segment.

Fettercairn 12 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Tart-malty with a delicate note of spices, mild sweetness and fruits, essential oils.

Taste: Emphasized grain with a mix of sweetness and spice, orange peel and hints of coffee, slightly dry oak.
