Production is based in an 18th century cotton mill and is partly based on organically grown barley. The distillery obtains its electricity from a power station a few miles away, which dams the waters of the River Teith.
Deanston Kentucky Cask Matured matured for an undefined period in oak barrels from Kentucky/ USA. Bottled with a mild 40 vol. % alcohol, without colorant and not chill-filtered.
Aroma: Grassy and malty with hints of green apples and citrus, vanilla.
Taste: Sweet with toffee and powdered sugar, barley malt and sweet-sour fruitiness, some oak.
