Dalmore Portwood Reserve 0.7l, alc. 46.5 Vol.-%

When maturing its single malts, the Dalmore Distillery, founded in 1839 directly on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, relies largely on Spanish sherry casks that had previously been filled with sherry for decades. In the characteristic bottle with the royal twelve-pointer, the distillery is particularly popular in Asia. The distillery's oldest single malts regularly fetch large sums at auction there.

Dalmore Portwood Reserve matured for an undefined period of time in former bourbon barrels and was then matured in port wine barrels. Bottled at 46.5% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Sweet with berries and clove, light leather note with mild spices and some dry oak.

Taste: Malty with dark berries, blood oranges and caramel, roasted chestnuts and slightly chocolaty oak.
