When maturing its single malts, the Dalmore Distillery, founded in 1839 directly on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, relies largely on Spanish sherry casks that had previously been filled with sherry for decades. In the characteristic bottle with the royal twelve-denter, the distillery is particularly popular in the Asian region. The distillery's oldest single malts regularly fetch large sums at auction there.

Dalmore 12 Years Sherry Cask Select first matured in former bourbon casks and was then matured in two types of sherry casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Aromatic mix of spices and sweetness, raisins and hints of orange, a hint of baker's yeast and anise.

Taste: Some citrus, raisins and brown sugar, nutmeg with a slightly dry oak note and a delicate nuttiness.
