Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 0.7l, alc. 50 Vol.-%

The Bruichladdich distillery was founded in 1881 by the Harvey brothers on the banks of Loch Indaal. Closed in 1994, a group of private investors breathed new life into the distillery in 2000. Today, Bruichladdich produces single malt whisky under its own name on the island of Islay, completely without peat smoke. Port Charlotte is a medium-strong smoky whisky, and Octomore is the smokiest single malts in the world.

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 is made exclusively from barley from the Scottish island of Islay. Bottled with a strong 50% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Floral with cereal notes, ripe citrus fruits and peel, buttery with maritime freshness, dry.

Taste: Sweet and spicy with honey and pepper, green apples and kiwi, grapefruit and hints of salted caramel.
