Ballechin 12 years SFTC Oloroso Sherry 0.5l, alc. 58.1 Vol.-%

The Edradour distillery, once the smallest distillery in Scotland, has been independently owned again since 2002. Run by Andrew Symington, the owner and founder of the company Signatory Vintage, the Highland distillery has a truly luminary owner. Since he took over, a wide variety of bottlings have been released on the market on a regular basis. Edradour bottles single malts without peat smoke under its own name, and with peat smoke as Ballechin.

Ballechin 12 years SFTC matured from October 23, 2009 to March 2, 2022 in a single Oloroso sherry cask (348). Bottled with a strong 58.1% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Dark berries, intense peat smoke with ashy notes, jam and leather.

Taste: Meaty notes, brown sugar, bacon wrapped dates, earthy smoke and spices.
