The Aberlour distillery, located in the town of the same name in Speyside, Scotland, was built in 1879. The distillery is known for its bottlings, which mature in American bourbon casks and Spanish sherry casks. A special flagship is the cask-strong A'bunadh.

Aberlour 18 Year Old Double Sherry Cask was first matured in a combination of European and American oak casks and then finished in PX and Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Sweet and dark fruity with raisins, orange peel, dried cranberries, hints of dark chocolate.

Taste: Chocolate raisins, sweet with toffee, spicy with nutmeg, hints of liquorice and lovage, brown sugar.
