Founded in 1896, the Aberfeldy Distillery is located in the town of the same name on the banks of the River Tay. The distillery's name translates roughly as "mouth of the Feldy." Aberfeldy single malts are characterized by a distinctive sweetness, often associated with honey. Complemented by fruity notes, the whiskies from this Highland distillery are particularly suitable for beginners.
