The Aberfeldy Distillery, founded in 1896, is located in the town of the same name on the banks of the River Tay. The name of the distillery translates as "mouth of the Feldy". Aberfeldy's single malts are characterized by a distinctive sweetness that is often associated with honey. Complemented by fruity aspects, the whiskies from this Highland distillery are particularly suitable for beginners.

Aberfeldy 15 years was first matured in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks and then finished in Sémillon wine casks from the French region of Cadillac. Bottled at a mild 43% alcohol by volume.
