Aberfeldy 19 Year Old Sherry Cask 0.7l, alc. 43% Vol.

Founded in 1896, the Aberfeldy Distillery is located in the town of the same name on the banks of the River Tay. The distillery's name translates as "mouth of the Feldy." Aberfeldy's single malts are characterized by a distinctive sweetness often associated with honey. Complemented by fruity notes, the whiskies from this Highland distillery are particularly suitable for beginners.

This Aberfeldy belongs to the Exceptional Cask Series, for which Malt Master Stephanie Macleod selects exceptional casks. After maturing in refill casks and sherry casks, the malt was finished for up to three years in Oloroso sherry casks. After a total of 19 years, a complex malt with intense sherry notes was created. Bottled at 43% ABV.

Aroma: The sweet note of honey combines with salted caramel and accents of passion fruit. Savory nuances, accompanied by cereal aromas, blend with the scent of frangipane.

Palate: A hint of nuttiness accompanies notes of dark chocolate. This is accompanied by spicy fruits and a fruit compote, finally culminating in facets of honey.
