Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2006 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 50% by volume

The Bruichladdich distillery was founded in 1881 by the Harvey brothers on the banks of Loch Indaal. Closed in 1994, a group of private investors breathed new life into the distillery in 2000. Today Bruichladdich produces single malt whiskey under its own name on the island of Islay without any peat smoke. Medium-strong smoky whiskey as Port Charlotte and the smokiest single malts in the world as Octomore.

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2006 is made exclusively from barley from the Scottish island of Islay. Bottled at a strong 50 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Emphasized cereals with maritime freshness, floral notes, sweetness and some oak

Palate: Sweet with honey and hints of candied apples, malty and fresh.
