The Bladnoch distillery, situated on the river of the same name, is the southernmost whiskey distillery in Scotland that is still producing. After it was founded in 1817, the distillery looks back on some very dark times: countless changes of ownership, temporary closures. In 2015 the distillery was taken over by an Australian entrepreneur who breathed new life into Bladnoch and modernized it.

Blad still 11 years matured the entire time in former bourbon casks. Bottled at 46.7 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Fruity with pineapple and ripe pear, mild flowers, fruit acid and delicate oak.

Taste: Fruity with apples and pears, malt, sandalwood and fresh notes of grass.
