Lagavulin is a whisky distillery in the town of the same name on the Scottish Isle of Islay. Whisky was produced at the site of the current distillery as early as 1742. However, the first legal distillery was not founded until 1816 by John Johnston. Located in the south of the island, in close proximity to Ardbeg and Laphroaig, Lagavulin, like its neighbors, produces smoky single malt whisky. The name of the distillery translates as "the hollow of the mill."

The Laphroaig Elements 1.0 whisky is part of a new series that emphasizes creativity and innovation in whisky production. This whisky marks the beginning of a new era of experimentation with mash and fermentation. The creation is exciting and experimental, so it goes without saying that the packaging also has a unique look. The design is inspired by sketches showing plans for the expansion of the Laphroaig distillery in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity, slightly maritime with peaty notes.

Taste: Fruity notes of fresh fruit, honey and fudge with soft peat smoke.
