The Edradour distillery, once the smallest distillery in Scotland, has been independently owned again since 2002. Run by Andrew Symington, the owner and founder of the company Signatory Vintage, the Highland distillery has a truly luminary owner. Since he took over, a wide variety of bottlings have been released on the market on a regular basis. Edradour bottles single malts under its own name without peat smoke, and as Ballechin with peat smoke.

The Edradour 12 years 2011/2023 Barbaresco Cask matured the entire time in first fill Barbaresco hogsheads. Bottled with a strong 48.2% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered. Small Batch, Distilled 2011, Bottled 2023

Aroma: Rich fruit cake, maple syrup, oak spice, dark currant compote and orange peel.

Taste: Creamy vanilla, blackberries, roasted nuts, roasted heather and ginger.
