Aultmore 12 Years Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

Founded in 1896 in Speyside, Scotland, the Aultmore Distillery enjoys a reputation as a sympathetic underdog among whiskey enthusiasts, as the distillery itself advertises its own single malts little or not at all. The range includes classically matured whiskeys, which were mainly matured in ex-bourbon casks to perfectly reflect the character of Aultmore.

Aultmore 12 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Essential oils, tart malt notes, citrus fruits and slightly dry oak.

Taste: Oranges and lemons, delicate herbal note with pithy grain and a light nuttiness.
