Michael Molloy founded the original Tullamore Distillery in 1829 in the town of the same name. The later managing director Daniel Edmond Williams began his apprenticeship as a whiskey distiller at the distillery in 1862 and created the brand name that is still known today in 1887 by adding his initials DEW - Tullamore DEW
Tullamore Dew 14 Years first matured in former bourbon casks and then received a post-maturation in bourbon, sherry, port and madeira casks. Bottled at 41.3% ABV. Alcohol.
Aroma: Ripe fruit notes and citrus, creamy sweetness with mild oak and floral notes.
Taste: Fruity with pear, mango and apples, some vanilla and cinnamon, malt and oak.
