The origins of the Teeling Distillery can be traced back to Walter Teeling, who founded a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782. This Dublin district was also called the "Golden Triangle" due to the high density of distilleries. The two sons of John Teeling founded today's Teeling Distillery in 2015, which was realized with the proceeds from the sale of the Cooley Distillery.

Teeling 12 years first matured for 9 years in ex-bourbon casks and then received a post-maturation for 4 years in Bordeaux red wine casks. Bottled at a strong 50% vol. Alcohol, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Covered floral aromas with ripe fruits, spice and sweetness in the mix, delicate oak wood note.

Taste: Fruity with cherries and freshness, fruit, sweet caramel, mild spices, dry oak.
