Tamdhu Batch Strength No.006 0.7l, alc. 56.8% vol.

The Tamdhu Distillery was founded in 1897 in Speyside, Scotland and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Dailuaine, Knockando and Cardhu distilleries. Translated, Tamdhu means something like “Small Dark Hill”. The distillery's single malts, which they bottle themselves, mature exclusively in Spanish sherry casks. Since 2013 the distillery has belonged to the Ian Macleod company, which also owns Glengoyne and Rosebank.

Tamdhu Batch Strength No.006 matured in former sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled with a powerful 56.8 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity with hints of leather, spices and tobacco, aromatic oak.

Taste: Sweetness and spice mixed with vanilla and pepper, fruity with raisins and grapes, delicately nutty.
