Mossburn Island Smoke and Spice Blend 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The first bottling under the Mossburn name was released in 2017 as a series of classic independent bottlings. Over the nearly three decades prior, the team developed and honed their skills in blending and bottling whiskeys and a variety of other spirits. Today, Mossburn has various single malt and blended malt whiskeys in its range and operates two distilleries in Scotland at the same time.

Mossburn Island "Smoke and Spice" Cask No.1 matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Citrus with dry smoke, some sulphur, dry nuts and delicate oak.

Palate: Roasted malt, maritime smoky with lemon and zest, herbs and dry wood.
