The Yellow Rose Distillery in Houston is the first legal whiskey distillery in the US state of Texas. Named for a figure in local folklore, a woman known as the "Yellow Rose" of Texas. Yellow Rose Rye matured in fresh American white oak barrels (Virgin Oak) for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 45% ABV. Alcohol, without dye.
Aroma: Spicy and grainy with a delicate sweetness, mint and toasted oak notes.
Taste: Sweetness and spice mixed with vanilla and pepper, hearty grain, wood.
